Font games
Games about fonts, not fonts for games. Every one is played with real type and scored from measurements taken from the font files themselves, the same numbers the articles on this site publish. Half a game, half a way to learn what the numbers feel like.
Higher or Lower
Two fonts, one question: which has the taller cap height, the bigger x-height, the higher ascender, the more open aperture? Call it, the measured values flip over, and your streak is on the line. One miss ends the run.
PlaySet Point
The variable-font matching game. A target word sits at an unknown weight and width; you work the sliders on a live variable font until your word matches it, and the game scores the difference.
